George is dedicated to making a difference in District 39. He is committed to representing the voices of the community and addressing the issues that matter most. George believes in creating a strong, inclusive, and prosperous future for all residents of District 39.

Access | Accountability | Action
Education & Accountability
George will push for all-out transparency in our schools by requiring every school that receives public funding to share bilingual information about classroom sizes, safety inspections, repair needs, student progress, and discipline rules. Parents deserve clear, easy-to-read updates on how their schools are performing and how their tax dollars are being used.
Affordable Housing & Essential Workers
Housing costs have risen faster than incomes. George supports updating affordable housing rules so more working families, those earning between 60 to 80% of the area’s median income (AMI), can live near their jobs and schools. He also wants to reserve some affordable homes for teachers, nurses, and first responders. These are the people who keep our community running, they should be able to live here as well.
Immigrant Rights & Access
George will fight for fair treatment and due process for all Marylanders. He supports programs that give immigrants access to qualified lawyers and more bilingual help in schools and public offices so families can understand their rights and feel safe seeking help.
Small Business & Growth
About 70% of Montgomery County’s self-employed residents are minority, immigrant, or female business owners. These entrepreneurs often face long, complex permitting steps and language barriers when trying to open or expand. George will work to simplify rules, translate forms and guidance, and provide help in multiple languages so small-business owners can focus on growing, not just surviving.
Transportation and Mobility Equity
Maryland's vehicle registration fees are among the highest in the nation. George will create a Working Families Registration Credit to reduce vehicle registration fees for working families. He will also fight for safer routes to school and work with better lighting, clearer crosswalks, and speed-feedback signs near schools and major corridors. He will advocate for safety improvements on MD-355 and expand MARC service to make commuting more reliable for working families.
Public Safety & Accountability
George supports fair, accountable, and transparent public safety. As Vice Chair of the Police Accountability Board, he has advanced strong civilian oversight, supported the Freedom to Leave Act, and worked to fully implement Anton’s Law so misconduct is investigated and officers are held to clear standards. He believes technology should be used to prioritize de-escalation and reduce harm, limiting situations where armed officers are dispatched unnecessarily, and supports a multilingual complaint process with aggregated officer data to identify patterns, guide targeted training, and strengthen accountability.
